Charles Andrew "Andy" Switzer

Charles Andrew Switzer JR (Andy) passed away on November 2nd 2024. 

Charles Switzer JR was born on October 24th 1965 in Madison Heights, Virginia. 

He graduated from Staunton River High School in 1985. He was passionate about his music and loved to play any time he got the chance and even started playing for his church. He was known as a hard worker and worked as long as he could. 

Enjoyed Hunting and Fishing with his family. Charles Switzer JR is preceded in death by his parents Charles Andrew Switzer SR (Buck) and mother Jessie Belle Stockett Switzer (Kitty) and brother Robert O Craig. 

Charles is survived by son Charles Andrew Switzer Ill, spouse Veronica Switzer. Son Charles Michael Switzer and Grandkids Joseph Lambert, Carlee Lambert and Johnathan Lambert and his beloved kitties Callie, Tigger and Baby Boy. Other close family and friends Joey Lambert, Vonda Lambert, cousin Wesley Peters, Mary and Frank Powers, Steve Hodges, Hollywood, Kenny Wheeler and Mr Wheeler and I'm sure there are others. 

A special thanks to friends Steven and Barbara Stewart and to the Carilion Hospice team out of Franklin Memorial Hospital. 

Service will be held at his home church "Free Saints Holiness Church" at 600 Mt Zion Rd Penhook, VA 24137 by his friend and pastor Thomas Tosh on November 9th at 11am, followed by lunch with details to come.
