Erskine Pearce

On September 14, 2023 Erskine Romero Pearce answered the call of his heavenly Father and entered into eternal rest. He was born on March 8, 1977 in Charlotte, NC to the late William
Erskine Pearce and Brenda McMurray Pearce. He is preceded in death by his grandparents (George) J.W. & Edna McMurray, as well as several Aunts and Uncles.

Erskine is survived by his loving wife Brittney Pearce of Martinsville, Va. 3 Sons, Derico R. Pearce (Nicole) of Charlotte, NC, Xavier C. Pearce, Martinsville, Va. and Josiah W. Pearce, Martinsville Va. His mother Brenda McMurray Pearce, Charlotte, NC Grandson Phillip R. Pearce, Charlotte, NC. His Brother Michael Z. McMurray of Charlotte, NC. Special Aunts Addie Pearce and Linda McMurray of Charlotte, NC. Special cousins: Rodney Jones (Camisha) Charlotte, NC Tony Davis (Bonnie) Alberta, Va. and Felicia Carr (Walter) of Charlotte, NC. Mother-in law Deborah F. Kasey Salem, Va. Father in-law Lee A. Warren, Rocky Mount, Va., Sister-in law Karecca Lee (Deon) Rocky Mount, Va. Brother in-law, Timothy L. Leavelle, II Roanoke, Va. Six Nieces, Three Nephews, A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Erskine was an active member of the Bellevue Missionary Baptist Church, participating on the Usher Board, assisting with the upkeep of the church building and church grounds.

Erskine loved working with and encouraging young people to always push to be the best in life. He stressed to study hard, have fun, but keep God first!     

Under the leadership of Pastor Wimbish, Erskine was nominated Deacon-elect and was in present training for Ordination for Deacon. Erskine will be greatly missed, and his memory cherished by all those who knew him.
